Press Release - ICT Mark grant funding to continue for Naace: 11 June 2010

- For immediate release -

I am sure you will be pleased to hear that, further to Becta's announcement to schools and Local Authorities this week regarding the release of the revised self-review framework (its release was delayed due to Purdah and the election), Naace has been advised that funding for the ICT Mark administration and quality assurance services will continue until March 2011 subject to regular reviews.

As you will expect, at this stage, the funding is subject to regular review and the current public sector pressures but colleagues can be assured that Naace will make every endeavour to continue to deliver a first class service for all stakeholders whilst working to secure a long term future for this successful scheme.

We are grateful to colleagues at Becta for their encouragement in progressing to this stage.
