3rd Millennium Learning Award

3rd Millennium Learning Award
The aim of the 3rd Millennium Learning Award is to enable schools to demonstrate how they are providing an education fit for the 21st century. It celebrates schools' achievements in creating an environment and curriculum that stimulate more and better learning, making full use of the opportunities presented by technology.

This is a peer-referenced Award, with no set criteria, as schools enable their pupils to experience 3rd Millennium Learning in very diverse ways. Judgement of the submissions by schools for the Award is made by a ‘college’ of schools that have already gained the Award and the Award Steering Group comprised of 3rd Millennium Learning Guides. The Guides are Naace members who have demonstrated understanding of 3rd millennium learning approaches, by review of a range of both primary and secondary schools that have gained the Award.

Naace hopes and expects that by sharing the experiences of schools that the extent and quality of 3rd millennium learning and the significantly raised achievement of pupils that results will spread and grow.

Self-review Framework and ICT Mark course

Supporting the SRF and working towards the ICT Mark
Naace has developed a Self-review Framework (SRF) support course for personnel who are working with schools and within schools to support their progression through the SRF, with special emphasis on how to achieve ICT Mark accreditation.

This course is aimed at schools engaged on the SRF journey but may also be useful to support providers working with a number of schools.

The award for schools with good use of technology to support teaching, learning and school administration. Deservedly popular with schools wanting to demonstrate both effective and mature use of technology. Schools use this award to drive change and many are, or go on to be, outstanding.

Naace Connect

Filming the latest episode
Naace Connect is an online video magazine for Naace members and others interested in educational ICT. Each programme is approximately half an hour in length and divided into 5 minute episodes which include interviews with practitioners, key stakeholders and thinkers in educational ICT. Naace Connect is distributed online via Naace.tv and other appropriate online channels and is covered by a Creative Commons Licence and we encourage you to distribute the episodes to help spread the word about good educational ICT practice.
