Press Release - Naace Announces Annual National Professional Development Programme 10 July 2013

Naace, the national association for the advancement of learning through technology, is pleased to announce an annual national programme of blended one and two day events to help teachers meet their pressing needs for support to improve. The programme will be available to all from September 2013.

The Naace programme contains innovative approaches to ensure maximum benefit, including medium term evaluation of impact, and ongoing online networking and sharing of resources for delegates after participation.

The flagship of the programme is TOTAL (Towards Outstanding Teaching and Learning), a two day programme for school leaders, which provides strategic planning frameworks for school improvement through the use of technology.  After the recent London TOTAL programme, Sarah Mitchell, co-head at Gonville Academy said, "I thought the course was really useful and thought provoking. I've come back full of ideas and am ready to start formulating my action plan for next year and beyond."

The remainder of the programme for this year has been developed after close consultation with schools, and focusses on key issues facing schools now, including the new Computing Programme of Study, and creating exceptional learning with technology.
